How HTML TO MOTION handles information in the current browser workspace and desktop software.

PREVIEW VERSION · UPDATED 14 OCTOBER 2026
01

Who we are

HTML TO MOTION is the product and contact name for this website and the Windows studio. For questions about this notice or your information, email admin@htmltomotion.com. This notice describes the current product, including its Cloudflare-hosted website. Changes to services or data practices will be reflected in this notice.

02

Information we use

  • Account details: name, email address, a salted password hash, account creation date and any launch-plan interest you choose.
  • Workspace content: project names, HTML code, composition type, aspect ratio, timestamps and storage usage for projects you save.
  • Sessions and security: a session cookie and a server-side hash of the session token. The server temporarily uses IP addresses for sign-in rate limiting.
  • Emails: information you choose to send to admin@htmltomotion.com, including enquiry details and attachments.

Do not include secrets or personal information in HTML projects unless they are necessary for your work. We do not request payment-card details in the current preview.

03

Why we use it

Account and project information enables sign-in, project storage, editing, download and account display. Session and rate-limit information helps protect access. Plan-interest choices show your selected launch interests; choosing a plan does not currently send marketing emails, collect payment or activate a subscription. Enquiry information is used to handle the request you send.

04

Where information is stored

On htmltomotion.com, browser accounts and projects are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database and served through Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare processes information as our hosting provider. The database was provisioned in the Eastern Europe region; service traffic may be processed through Cloudflare's global network. Local development uses a separate file store and is not automatically uploaded or synced to the live database. Files rendered or exported by the desktop studio are saved on your computer in the folders you choose. Desktop activation sends a hashed device identifier to the license service; the raw machine identifier stays on your computer. Cloudflare D1 stores the device hash, trial dates, license-key hash, allowed device count and activation records. This prevents trial resets and enforces license limits. The desktop keeps its activation and license key encrypted using operating-system storage. It checks signed activation leases and reconnects periodically; paid licenses have up to seven days of offline access. License and trial records remain until an operator removes them; deletion requests can be sent to the contact address above. Email is processed by the email services used by you and the receiving mailbox. For hosting practices, see Cloudflare's privacy policy.

05

Connected AI providers

When you use an AI connection in the desktop software, your prompt and any composition context you include are sent to the provider you select. That provider applies its own privacy terms and usage rules. Your browser dashboard does not generate AI content. Review the provider’s policies before including private material.

06

Cookies and browser storage

The account service sets the essential motion_session cookie to keep you signed in. It has a seven-day lifetime and is cleared when you sign out. The webapp has no advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Cloudflare may process network and security telemetry needed to operate its services. No non-essential cookie integrations are implemented in the application. Clearing or blocking the session cookie may prevent signed-in features from working.

07

Sharing and access

Browser projects are associated with their owner account; this preview has no public project-sharing feature. Server operators with administrative access can access the server’s data store. Email providers process messages sent through their services. Connected AI providers receive the data you explicitly submit to them. The current product has no feature that sells account information or shares it for advertising.

08

Retention and removal

This preview has no automatic account or project-expiry schedule. Projects remain in the server store until you remove them or the operator deletes the data. The dashboard lets you download and remove individual projects and update your display name. Account deletion and full data-copy requests can be sent to admin@htmltomotion.com; identity verification may be needed. A response or deletion deadline is not promised here. Email retention and future hosting/backup schedules will be defined before production launch.

09

Security and your choices

Passwords are stored using salted scrypt hashes. Sessions use opaque tokens, hashed on the server, with HttpOnly and SameSite cookies. HTTPS deployments also use Secure cookies. These safeguards reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute security. You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing depending on applicable law; contact us to make a request or raise a concern. We will assess the request under the law that applies.
